I am at that age now that I have come to some conclusions about my own life.
These days, I am not as curious about things as I was before. I don't stir unless there is something I am indeed interested in. I mean, I don't watch much news unless it is something really important for myself to know.
I don't mind being called an anarchist.
But interview are exceptions. I find that everyone is very interesting. It might because I enjoy the fact that I can study each as an individual and each their lifestyle . I like humans. I like each of their characteristics...what makes them individuals.
When I was a student I didn't study very much in school. Instead, I was very keen to read interviews in magazines for a more mature audience. I was young and they became guides I used to grow from innocence.
Reading those articles I enjoyed the answers also the questions asked by the interviewers. I realized they couldn't do that without a deeper understanding of the subjects experiences. That asking deep questions takes deep thought.
A few years ago I had a opportunity to conduct an interview with Mr. Kenta Ueoka who was active as a painter on a web magazine. The interesting thing was that at first I was afraid, but after, I realized that it suits me.
I have always naturally had many questions I wanted to ask when I met other artists. Our conversations were very interesting and so I had the thought that they would be more interesting if these became articles. That's why I started this interview portion of Neo-Fantasia
I would be happy if it became a leisurely amusement for a mature audience and then maybe...a guide for the life's of the next generation. |
